can’t sleep at dawn

she cant sleep at dawn

so dizzily withdrawn

looking out on her day

afraid

although it looks so pretty

and she wants it so badly

she touched life once, it stung her

So she slinks away so sadly

she cant sleep at dusk

like a child abandoned

its blinding and it ties her

fear telling lies to her

a child wanting

burning

fear always driving her

meow
